Flourish Retreats are organized and conducted by women, for women.

unplug from their busy lives, have fun, spend some time in nature and in the company of other like-minded women, explore and express themselves, declutter their minds, and find ways to work through their self-limiting beliefs and mindset. Most of the time, we women live our life into-pilot' mode Going through the same activities every day, every week, every year. We sometimes get so busy running in this Gerbil Wheel, we Hardly take care of our physical or mental health. And then we Start to notice the subtle signs of exhaustion or frustration, Feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from ourselves.

Dance And Creative Movement

We all know our mind and body are connected, but how often to tune into your body and listen to your body? Creative Dance and Movement (DMT) recognizes body movement as an implicit instrument of communication and expression. DMT is a relational process in which an Expert helps participants to engage creatively using body movement and dance, as well as verbal and non-verbal reflection.

The moving body and non-verbal phenomena through Dance & Movement phenomenally help women to :

Increase inner - power through self-awareness and self-confidence.

Express and manage overwhelming feelings and thoughts, changing patterns through movement-based techniques.

Space to test the relationship between inner and outer reality and the opportunity to increase and rehearse adaptive coping behaviors.

Exploration of relational and developmental issues arising from early in fancy through to older age.

Tripura Kashyap

Guest Facilitator

Tripura Kashyap is a Movement Therapist / Dance Educator & Choreographer who pioneered Dance/Movement Therapy in India in 1990. She trained in classical dance at Kalakshetra, Chennai, and later studied Dance/Movement Therapy at Hancock Center, Wisconsin, U.S.A. She holds an M.A. in Psychology and has received fellowships from the Ashoka Foundation and the Indian Ministry of Culture for her innovative work in dance therapy and contemporary dance. She has written, “My Body, my wisdom – A Handbook of Creative Dance Therapy” published by Penguin.
